John Abraham was born into a Catholic family. His father came from the Malayal people and professed Christianity, and his mother is a Parsi and adheres to Zoroastrian traditions. The most famous work of John was the role of the lawyer Narayan from a wealthy family who fell in love with a prostitute Kalyani in the drama " Water " directed by Deepa Mehta . His partners on the set were Sarala and Mira Biswas . In the action movie " Race 2 ", the actor starred along with Bollywood stars: Deepika Padukon , Saif Ali Khan , Bipasha Basu .
